	To publicize government contract opportunities and to maximize competition, the Georgia Procurement Registry - a free web-based advertising system - is offered by DOAS for state and local governments to post contract opportunities. The Registry's popularity among its users ensures that contract opportunities are quickly and widely disseminated to the supplier community. 	eSource is a free web-based procurement sourcing tool offered by the SPD for use by all state agencies, departments, boards, bureaus, commissions, institutions and other state and local government entities. eSource enables buyers to solicit and receive bids electronically at their desktops and eliminates paper-intense processes.
